Love and the People

Ways to Make Your Relationship Last

“To me, you were more than just a person. You were a place where I finally felt at home.”
Denice Envall

Rose and John
John: (stares upstairs as he sits in his car) Hey love, how are you?
Rose: I’m just here, having a boring evening. I’m on bed, watching a movie with a bowl of popcorn.
John: I can see that.
Rose: (gets confused) How can you see that?
John: I’m downstairs… in my car and I’m here to take you on a dinner date.
Rose: (squeals) Oh my gosh! You are amazing John. That’s why I love you.
John: Love you too. Ten minutes to get dressed. I’m waiting for you and I can’t wait to see you in that blue dress I gifted you last week.

This week on 'Love and The People', we give you ways to ignite and make your relationship last.
A lasting love is a product of both parties in a relationship.
Here are tips for making that happen!

1. On a Regular Basis, Do Something Really Special!
Love doesn't get boring when you do something special on a regular basis. It could be making his favourite meal every week or calling him every day. This livens the relationship and prevents it from getting boring.

2. Take Your Lover Breath's Away
Take your lover's breath away surprisingly by doing something amazing and extraordinary. It could be a surprise dinner or a love note.

3. Teach Your Love What You Like
One way to boost the relationship is by knowing what you both like and what you don't.

4. Do Something Edgy
A heart rate up on your partner can make him associate the feeling of excitement with you. You can plan on going roller-coaster riding or something with a touch of danger, to make his love for you deepen.

5. Do Something Great for Your Partner's Love
Show your partner that the people who are important to him are as well important to you. Entering a relationship translates to entering a relationship with his family and friends. Show love and kindness to the people close to him and those that he cherish you the most.

6. Voice Out Your Love
Don't be scared to tell him how you feel. Write a love prose or poem, dedicated to him!
