Twenty-Four
They examined their moments
together and saw how impossible it was to live without each other.
Nadia cried. “I’m very sorry
Rasheed. I’m the cause of it all. It wasn’t your fault. I pushed you away.
Please forgive me”.
“Is it possible to keep grudges
with the one you love? I love you, and I always will”.
“I love you too”.
“You’re still wearing my
bracelet?”
“Pulling it off is like taking
you off my heart. I can’t do such”.
“Gosh, I’m in love with you
Rasheed. How stupid and oblivious I’ve been all this while?”
Rasheed looked at the most
beautiful woman in the world and wondered how he could survive without her.
Nadia’s phone rang. It was Mr.
Jones calling. She picked and listened silently to the end caller.
“…hmm, okay.
I’ll see what I can do”. She hung up.
“Who was that?”
“First, my lunch break is over.
Second, Mr. Jones wants me to talk for the noon show. He says that my fans are
demanding to hear from me”.
“Then go for it!” Rasheed
motivated her.
“I don’t know why I feel very weird
doing the thing that I love the most, that I receive the greatest source of
fulfillment”.
“It shouldn’t be that way. Face
your fear and do what’s right”.
“Okay sweetheart. I’ll do what’s
right”. She stood and sighed deeply, heading for the studio.

“Tell us your name and where you’re calling
from?” Nadia spoke on the radio as she gave the noon show.
She thanked Rasheed internally
for making her face her fear and do what she loves. She could see Mr. Jones
from the background, grinning and giving her a thumb up. It was great to be
back up again.
She wished they could be
possibility for them to get back together again. It would be lovely to be with
the love of her life.
“Are you there Nadia?” The caller
noticed her sudden silence.
“Yes I am. Thanks so much for
your contribution”. She smiled and hung up.
She had been lost in the thoughts
with Rasheed.
“Hello. What’s your name and
where are you calling from?”
“I am Rasheed, calling from Palm
Land Estate. I have a proposal to make”.
“I’m sorry Rasheed, but that will
be in the Breakfast show”. Nadia said nervously.
Rules
could be broken at times. She wanted to know what Rasheed was about
to say.
Mr. Jones gave a gesture that he
should continue.
“I’m just madly in love with
amazing lady. I wish to spend the rest of my life with her…that’s if she’s
ready to tie the knots with me”.
“Yes Rasheed. She’s ready to tie
the knots with you”. She giggled.
”Okay. I love her so much”.
“And she loves you too Rasheed”.
“We’ll be back after the short
break guys”. She swiftly said, waiting to scream out her lungs after.
Rasheed
just proposed on set!
Nadia couldn’t get any much
happier. Zaynah was getting married soon and she would also be tying the knots
with Rasheed.
Rasheed on the other hand sat in
his car and stared at his phone for a while. He would be spending the rest of
his life with the woman he loves the most!

A/N: Finally, Tissue Hearts comes to an end. I guess this will be the longest episodes on the Nitty Wall.
